A couple of police officers to investigate the killings of two young women in "The Killing Fields of Texas," Ami Canaan Mann poorly assembled sophomore feature. Former DEA agent Don script Ferraroni not so bad in itself, but things did not help muttering bad perfs and a voice, which makes it difficult to hear what someone is saying, but the sloppy writing of history sow destruction. However, strong central tracking is the best part of the film produced by Michael Mann, the father of Helmer. Opening theatrically on October 7th, "Texas" seems likely to go fast incidental to the Killing Fields.

Texas City, Texas, Detective Mike Souders (Sam Worthington) and his partner, Brian Hi (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), are called to investigate the murder of an unidentified girl teen. On their way back to the station from the scene, they give a ride to Little Anne (Chloe Grace Moretz, "Kick Ass"), a young local criminal so skanky mother of Lucy (Sheryl Lee) is launching a regular night out for Anne she can entertain her "boyfriend" that Rhino local oil refinery worker (Stephen Graham).

Around the same time, ask Souders ex-wife, Pam (Jessica Chastain, slightly Best in Show), a detective in the neighboring county for their assistance in the case of another missing woman, Lila. His body is more likely somewhere in the desert, swamps of Bayou locally known as The Killing Fields, where so many bodies have sprung up over the years. Hello, obsessed with killing killing field, wants to help, but Souders, wary of being around him, preferring to stick to because they already have, which seems to imply that some of the local pimps (Jason Clarke Jon Eyez).

It's corny enough when the picture says that even the local Native Americans rejected the death camps once again. But why, one wonders? There was an ancient burial mound or something else? The scenario provides no explanation, just as there can clarify what Souder always know, as if by magic, exactly where you are Hey, when you are about to get into a fight and rescue needs.

That said, there are clips from the film, which works well as a brief but credible scene, where detectives ask some African Americans to obtain information about the pimps and their playful banter, or at least what we can hear, a ring of credibility. The car above Chase is elegantly directed and choreographed, in fact it is good enough to make room for other errors seem even more aggravating. An ellipse shock - in a scene, Anne is followed by one of the pimps, and the next she saw house to dine with Bonjour - suggests something has gone wrong in the editing room.

Joining the call for talent to showcase their best work, Stuart Dryburgh dp ("The Piano"), eye action without his usual style, except for the surprising landscape of killing blows on the floor, while the soundtrack Dickon Hinchcliffe, who did a wonderful job in working with Claire Denis, is transformed into a score with so soft, as apparently all the films in Texas, a lot of slide guitar.
